Am I actually breaking UptimeRobot's terms right now?
If your free-plan monitors are checking a product you charge customers for, yes — as of their December 2024 terms update, that's commercial use, and it's outside what the free plan permits. Personal projects and non-revenue sites are unaffected.
Do I lose anything moving from 50 monitors to 3?
If you're monitoring one product — the main site, the API, maybe a webhook endpoint — 3 usually covers it. If you're tracking dozens of endpoints, you'll want the Pro plan or to prioritize which ones actually need alerting.
